What do you work on during a crop. Having a large amount of time, makes starting a new project an inviting possiblity. There also is enough time to finish up a current project and get that sense of accomplishment for a job well done. Regardless of what you plan to do at the crop, you need a master plan. Plan what you want to accomplish and follow that plan so you don't waste time wondering whats next. Here are a few items to pack for your crop:
Cricut Machine. If you take your machine with you, make sure it is secure in your tote for travel. Cutting your die cuts at home before the crop and taking those along in a secure pocket in your tote is also an options.
Paper. This is a must for a crop. Different sizes up to 12 x 12 should be taken. Your Cricut tote should be able to accomodate paper that is 12 x 12. Make sure it is in a pocket so it does not get damaged in route to the crop.
Adhesive and Scissors. Make sure you have plenty of both and back ups. It's not fun to run out of adhesive at a crop. Also having 2 pairs of scissors on hand, makes mis-placing one less painful.
Emellishments and Phots. Don't forget the photos. These can be stored in an inside pocket of your tote. Stickers, ribbons, beads, and other embellisments should also be packed in a pocket so you ready to use them at the crop.
Snacks and Extra Cash. Use the inside small pockets of your Cricut storage tote to pack some snacks and extra cash. You can work up an appetite while doing all your work at the crop. Having an easy snack to munch on during a break helps get you going again. Bring extra money in case there is an offer for only those that attend the crop. Sometimes there are special opportunities or scrap booking offers only available during that time.
Your tote should have deep tool pockets to accomodate pens, powders, and other fun items that you need for your special pages. Organize and pack your Cricut tote bag the way that works best for you so you can be ready when the next crop opportunity comes up.
