Is this a good sewing machine?
I am interested in a Janome Memory Craft 2400 sewing machine. It's $250. Does anyone know about this machine? I can't find any information about it online, other than it used to be featured on QVC (for about $500).
Do a search for the machine over on patternreview.com -- seems to have been a "special" machine made just for QVC, with lesser functions than the discontinued MC3000. All of the MemoryCraft series seems to have been discontinued now, from what I'm seeing online.
You might check for comparable machines at Sears (many Kenmores are Janomes in disguise) and places like allbrands.com to see what's comparable in new machines and what prices might be like. I'm wondering about repair part availability for the machine you're looking at...
