 How do I switch colors/make those little pictures in knitting projects? Have you ever seen those scarves or projects that have a little picture in them? Like a little quilt square that has an apple in it or a letter? I'm wondering how in the world you do those?!! I can never figure it out and I'd really love a simple explanation or a video explaining. Thank you so much!! the stranded knitting just seems to be for constant patterns like checkers or something and i don't like the run on the back, especially because it would catch on things... Unless you are an advanced knitter you need to find a pattern that has the picture you want. Then you would different colors of yarn for the different parts of the picture. Be certain when you switch colors to twist the 2 yarns around each other to prevent a hole in your knitting. I suggest you take a knitting class. Check the local places which sell yarn. |
